Big Marks ยท Halo round 3 ยท iPad

Soft Fill, dialled in.

Halo with the Soft Fill buttons, plus every change from your notes: white avatar with a blue B, centred nav, a settings gear at the bottom, a cream tool bar matching the colour rail, a green Save circle with a download arrow, a bigger canvas, and remade tool icons.

Shown in Bobby's blue. iPhone gets this exact treatment next round.

What changed
1
Avatar flipped

The tile is white now, the B is blue.

2
Nav centred, gear at the bottom

B on top, home / draw / photos centred, a settings gear pinned to the foot.

3
Tool bar is cream, not blue

Same plain pill as the colour rail. Home on top, tools centred, Save at the foot.

4
Save is a green circle

Back to a circle, with a download arrow instead of a star.

5
Bigger canvas

The drawing box now fills the space between the two bars.

6
New tool icons

Three pencil weights, a proper eraser, a classic paint bucket. Detail below.

The remade tools

Three weights, one pencil

The first three are the same pencil getting chunkier, so a kid picks a line weight, not a mystery tool. Then a real eraser and the classic paint bucket. The selected tool sits in a blue disc.

One thing to decide: the bottom door

I made it a settings gear labelled "Grown-ups". That word is the warmest for a kids app, but "Parents" is the clearest and "Adults" is an option too. It still opens the maths gate, since purchases live behind it. Say the word and I lock it in.
